The Story Behind This Work
What I know about this did not come from a textbook.
There is a moment many families face when something changes and you realize you are responsible for decisions you were never prepared to make.
I experienced that moment while coordinating my father’s care from 1,500 miles away. At 3 AM, I was on the phone, trying to make sense of what was happening, what needed to be done, and who to call next. I was a nurse. I knew the system. And I still felt overwhelmed navigating it alone.
That experience shaped how I support families today.
I also supported my mother through a serious illness and walked alongside my husband through End Stage Renal Disease until his passing in 2025. I know what it means to carry clinical knowledge and still feel the weight of a system that was never designed to support families as they truly need.
Today’s Healthcare Advisory was built on one belief: families deserve a clinical presence that sees the full picture, identifies changes early, and guides decisions so families are better prepared for what lies ahead.
Professional Support
What Reduces the Risk of Crisis
01
Careful Observation
Changes in health, cognition, mobility, and safety are often subtle. Identifying them requires time, continuity, and a trained clinical eye, none of which the current system reliably provides.
02
Thorough Assessment
A meaningful assessment goes beyond vital signs. It considers the full picture, including medications, environment, behavior, caregiver dynamics, and emerging risks, and documents what it finds.
03
Connecting the Dots
Individual symptoms rarely tell the full story. Clinical judgment connects findings over time, across providers, and across conversations, giving families the clarity to act before situations escalate.
Experience and Credentials
This is not theoretical. This is what I have done for over two decades.

The Last Gift Connection
Our clinical work is guided by the same philosophy as The Last Gift: The Conversation That Prevents Family Trauma and The Last Gift Annual Review™, which holds that families who have honest conversations early are far better prepared when difficult moments arrive.
This is not about expecting the worst. It is about ensuring your loved one’s wishes are known, honored, and not left to chance.

Who We Serve
Families across the aging journey.
We work best with families who value clinical expertise and are ready to be proactive rather than reactive in their loved one’s care.
Early Concerns
Something feels different, but no one has been able to name it. You want a clinical eye on the situation before it becomes more serious.
Chronic Illness Management
Your loved one is managing one or more chronic conditions, and the system is not providing the consistency and oversight the situation requires.
Declining Health
Health is changing, and the pace of that change needs to be closely monitored. Families need clinical guidance to make the right decisions at the right time.
Distance Caregiving
You live out of state and need trusted clinical eyes on the ground in Alpharetta, Sandy Springs, Roswell, or elsewhere in Metro Atlanta. We become your eyes on the ground, your updates, and your peace of mind.
Post-Hospital Transition
A recent discharge left your family with unclear instructions and limited follow-up. You need someone to step in immediately and assume clinical ownership of the transition.
End-of-Life Planning
Your family is ready to have the important conversations before a crisis makes them unavoidable. We guide the process with care, structure, and dignity.
